As far as an MU goes the script has to be on the server side I would think, 
which I know little about and cgi? well my ISP gets twitchy at the mention. 

the point is that for revised entry coords the avatar need not be kept on the 
server DB itself. For most mu's this is not needed but certain games would need 
some revised position info.

My thinking is cookies could be also useful in certain single user worlds - a 
maze for example. like this cookie <-> meta tag <->EAI<->VRML 
dont' have the time at the moment to follow it up
