I attempted the Clue game with Blaxxun Contact 4.0 which should have EAI support.I received multiple scripting errors which maybe due to the use of inlines. This is just a hunch,I may be mistaken about Contact 4.0 EAI support. The graphics loaded fine however and are supurb. If I'm right about the EAI support(I'll check If I find time) I may have an idea for a solution . (deals with persistence) Well, version 1.0 (or 0.1 depending on how you look at it) is up and working at http://itlabman.cs.rit.edu/clue/start.html There are instructions on how to play. Most of the applets still have textboxes that print debug info in them, these will eventually be removed. Also, all of the VRML code is student work, which is kind of nice to see what they did/learned. There is one room however that has some issues with indexed face sets... But the game passes as playable (or did last night for the first time). Beta away. If you receive a message in the applets about "Couldn't connect to server" that means the server program has died. E-mail me and I'll get it re-started. Comments / criticisms welcome ! -Andy RIT
