well, it's there at cai.com since a month or so,
you can download version 2.1.1 for pc,
and it installs (and works) even good in Windows98 SE with IE5.0,
something you couldn't say of 2.1

what about the "open source" plan of cosmoplayer a while ago?
is somebody in the vrml-landscape doing something with that, or isn't there
any interest / resources / isn't worth time spending or was it just a
rumour?
