Actually, I believe that the MONITOR command will allow you look at storage 
anywhere within the address space of either of the processors, see pages 8.1 
through 8.5 of the service manual. So it should be possible to READ the ROMs 
this way if both processors are working and communicating.

However it would be pretty slow, and as all the ROMs are socketed, it's not a 
big deal to just remove them and read them in a programmer. 

Note that I haven't tried this.

Going from memory, no, you have to pull the roms and read them. At least, 
that's what a few of us in the group have done.
You can access ram and nvram, though.
