I was wondering if anyone else has started experiencing problems with Dialupusa in
the last few days? We are having problems with customers getting authenticated on
their networks (via proxy Radius). Dialupusa says that they are not getting a
response from our Radius Server, but our Radius server does not show anything in the
logs to respond to. It seems to be sporadic in that sometimes the user will get
authenticated and logged in, but when they log off we are not receiving a stop packet
and thus the user is not allowed to log back in until we manually clear the user from
our Radius server which thinks the customer is still logged in. Other times it
appears that our Radius server does not receive the auth packet at all. I'm basing
this on a comparison of Dialupusa's log files and our own.

I'm thinking that perhaps there may be a routing issue between their servers and
ours, but so far everytime they have run a ping or traceroute it comes up clean.

I'm just trying to verify that I'm the only customer of theirs having this
problem. If so it would indicate a problem with my network or radius server and will
give me something to look at. If not it could be a problem on their end.

Our Radius server has worked flawlessly for over 3 years and nothing has been
changed in the last year on it, so I'm positive it's not a configuration issue with
it. Guess I'll start logging the port on the switch to see if it's a problem with the
network connection.

We also have multiple pops on multiple backbones of our own authenticating off the
same server without issues, and thus my belief that the problem probably lies on the
other end.
