Hello all,

Just want to say that we have just upgraded one of our Radius Servers to the latest 4.0 version and things seem to be normal.

The major thing to notice in the new changes of the ports used and the old ports are replaced with different ones due to some RFC requirements.

Its a simple change in the NAS, but if you don't notice it you'll be scrambling all day long!!

I'm very happy about the multiple Profiles features and will soon use this long awaited feature. I'll also be testing very soon the wireless features as well.

Regards..

Subject: [VOPRadius] VOP Radius 4.0.228 NOW Available.

Vircom VOP Radius official release 4.0.228 is NOW available. Official
press release is coming out very soon.

In addition to new features like EAP-MD5, the ability to configure
multiple profiles per NAS and perform concurrency per NAS, it contains
lots of fixes and minor improvements. (Among others, Windows 2003
support issue and potential ghost users issue has been solved.)

EAP-MD5 is an important new feature because it is one of the key
protocols used by most Wifi devices.

Customers are encouraged to try this new version of VOP Radius.
It can be found on Vircom web site in the section entitled "My Vircom".

There is also a document entitled "What's new in 4.0" that MUST be
read, since migrating to 4.0.228 may require changes to your profiles.

Enjoy,

Sylvain Savignac, P. Eng.
