Title: Message
Greetings Everyone,

I am new to the VOPRADIUS list.  I was reading through the changes for the 4.0 edition and noticed the ability to have duplicate usernames in the the RADIUS database.  If the first on fails, it will try the next matching username record and so forth.  My question is: how do the accounting records differentiate between 2 usernames, both with the same username.  Put differently, if I have [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] and the domain is stripped by a Telco NAS before it gets to my RADIUS, both users would end up being username=joe in the database.  If I searched my accounting records, how would I differentiate between which records refer to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and which ones refer to [EMAIL PROTECTED]?

Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Subject: [VOPRadius] VOP Radius 4.0.228 NOW Available.

Vircom VOP Radius official release 4.0.228 is NOW available. Official
press release is coming out very soon.

In addition to new features like EAP-MD5, the ability to configure
multiple profiles per NAS and perform concurrency per NAS, it contains
lots of fixes and minor improvements. (Among others, Windows 2003
support issue and potential ghost users issue has been solved.)

EAP-MD5 is an important new feature because it is one of the key
protocols used by most Wifi devices.

Customers are encouraged to try this new version of VOP Radius.
It can be found on Vircom web site in the section entitled "My Vircom".

There is also a document entitled "What's new in 4.0" that MUST be
read, since migrating to 4.0.228 may require changes to your profiles.

Enjoy,
