Hi,

I have calculated the binding energy of the tetrahedral anion of LiHy4- for all
possible Hydrinohydride sizes and presented it here:-

http://rvanspaa.freehostia.com/LiHy4-.pdf

(In this case, "binding energy" is taken to mean the energy that is released
when the anion is formed. I.e. it is the opposite of the definition commonly
used in chemistry. In short the higher the value, the larger the energy
release.)

Takeaway message:- Any value of p > 3 will suffice for the anion to form (unless
I have made some stupid miscalculation ;) (please check!)
