I just ran the numbers. Installed wind power in the U.S. increased by 36% last year. That's the biggest increase ever as far as I can tell. 2,420 MW in 2005 up to 9,145 MW. It just goes to show that wind is now competitive.

To put things in perspective, Europe has about 41,000 MW of installed wind capacity, or 4 times the U.S. Just goes to show how much more we could expand our wind installations.
