So this is interesting, it seems the effect is genuine and if it is (which IMO is the case if not fraud/scam or early April Fools joke that broke just before, hmmm) then, well there are some interesting implications. Either the voltage generated in the circuit accompanies a motor/generator effect slowing the earth\s rotation slightly... but this is in violation of Newton's equal and opposite and it would allow making a reactionless thruster with a current applied pushing against a permanent magnetic field on the ship. If it's not slowing down the earth then it is a violation of the Conservation of Energy! It also has interesting implications of what magnetic field geometries it allows one to make if isn't creating a slowing force on the earth then that means it is making a net magnetic field which in balancing with the earths opposite torque. So breaking the conservation of energy and novel and otherwise impossible magnetic field topologies OR breaking Newton's law and this indirectly breaks the CoE anyway since to double the speed you apply twice the energy but you have x4 the energy in double the velocity and so on, at a certain point you get overunity just from that. Another interesting possibility exists in the ability to make a folded coil which might be presumed to create a radial inductive field which this would be able to see a voltage from (the motional E field work of Hooper). And indeed it might even be that just by putting a magnet in the right orientation you could get a voltage from it without any needed rotation. It's also worth noting that until it's clear how this occurs, it might be possible to generate much more potent and usable energies with inductive fields from other sources, even potentially an electric field! You see if a wire was put inside a charged sphere like a VDG, it must have a voltage induced against any electron getting inside the sphere otherwise it would be effortless to transfer electrons from the wire to the inside of the sphere which feels no voltage ensuring the electrons transfer to the sphere. So there must be a voltage induced within a wire strung back and fourth between 2 spheres, this method might well work to imbalance this and in doing so you could have 100kv per back and fourth! And this would be free energy no matter if there was a motor force before.
