I did try this about 15 years ago. I does yield results, but pretty pathetic. 
And of course it should be renamed Tesla resonance, but as we all know he was 
ridiculed for suggesting it.

That was a lot of fun, but I got useful results from 60hz power line frequency, 
essentially an undetectable theft of a tiny amount of power from the grid.
