True on both counts, but then the military industrial complex wouldn't have received the money, and the militants would have been dealt with, neither of which would serve the true interests of your (and probably my) administrations. ...so perhaps things have turned out just the way they wanted...perpetual war, and a continuous stream of *your* tax dollars flowing into *their* pockets.
