Besides Ron doesn't even claim to be particularly competent in EE I
don't

I have apparently given a misimpression. I have no claims whatsoever
to competence in physics or EE. My sole college achievement along
those lines is completion of a freshman course in mechanics in 1962.
I simply let my statements stand or fall on their own merits or lack
of same.
It would indeed be interesting to know when and where Ron Stiffler
obtained his PhD.
