Lonnie Johnson, a famous inventor living in Atlanta, has come up with a highly efficient energy conversion system, that goes from heat to energy or vice versa with no moving parts, like a thermoelectric chip. It is supposed to be 60% efficient even with small temperature differences.

This would go perfectly with cold fusion.

Johnson has invented many other things, mainly for NASA, and he is independently wealthy because he invented the super-soaker toy.

I met Mr. Johnson briefly years ago, and introduced him to cold fusion. I gave him a copy of Gene's book.
