As of 8:11 PM I watched the police pack up their barricade material and leave. Local traffic is back to normal. Apparently, the threat level has been reduced in our immediate neighborhood. Also, as far as I can tell there are no arrest warrants out in my name for crashing the line earlier in the day. We will nevertheless keep the porch light on tonight.
