I have been making measurements of pulse motors for many years.  It's
easy to make mistakes.  One should be careful in placing too much
faith in the measuring instruments.  It's always good to approach an
amazing result from various angles.

That being said, I have never failed to be able to explain, even to
non-technical people, exactly what I am measuring and what the result
means.  The Orboadvocates seem unable to do this simple thing.

Many mistakes result from trying to use power calculations to
determine efficiency.  In cyclical systems, I have found it far easier
to make energy per cycle calculations and they are less prone to
error.
