Fran,
Actually I think the many problems, as I understand what they (Moddel etc) have done (incorrectly) and why they have not seen thermal gain with Casimir cavities is three-fold: 1) Lack of a spillover catalyst (nickel alone is not sufficient). Spillover is required for pycno to accumulate in cavities. 2) Lack of a trigger temperature - gain does not happen at ambient, even with pycno. 3) Lack of phase-change at or near the trigger temperature. All are needed, and they provided none of them, as I understand it. Jones * The above is why I remain a fence sitter on the Model-Haisch patent in that I believe they need to create an asymmetry similar to the change in bond state used by Moller in the MAHG and a control system to get the h1 deep into fractional states then let it form molecules which nature will oppose escaping and allow us to rectify "HUP" or "Zitterbewegung" whenever it pushes the molecule toward escape and discounts the energy needed to disassociate.
