I don't understand what "Anyway, I don't think the eCat body is a problem." means. For sure it is necessary to determine the sizes of the reactor and the interior compartment to put good limits on the interior water volume.

From the top view pipe entry points it seems clear the reactor compartment is, if not bolted to the floor of the outer container, very close to the bottom. Considering the location of the entry pipes on the exterior front, there does not appear to be room for fins.
