That the E-Cat operates without much noise is good news, and expected considering only a muffled boiling noise is expected. Maybe they took a sound reading from inside the reactor using a noise canceling mic and/or closed the container doors. Maybe it was just an educated guess of little importance, compared to the other aspects of the test they were evaluating.
