It seems to me you are looking for some kind of doomsday scenario and I don't think that's going to happen.
Cheer up (Luke), you are focusing to much on the "dark matter" as some kind of evil force that will destroy everything. Even if a lot of "dark matter" will be surrounding us, there will always be sufficient "light matter" to compensate for.
