They should be scanning our orbital trail in case it encountered a temporal rift and rematerialized in the same spatial coordinates displaced by hours from the rest of the planet.

At least you may have now just realized that Terry and I always try to present these kind of tall tales as tongue-in-cheek humor... though not everyone realizes that till later. Sometimes the only giveaway is the subject heading... it is fun to see that the conspiracy theorists have already picked up on it. BTW - the next episode - possibly happening this afternoon, if they follow our original script - will be the one where most of the bodies and a lot of luggage from Flight 370 will turn up in the Indian Ocean, about as far away from Diego Garcia as possible - so as not to raise eyebrows even further... ... or else ET will place all the evidence on an iceberg near Antarctica...
