Are /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 created when you inserted the E169G modem? If not, you might have to rebuild the kernel. I then need to run USB_Modeswitch to switch the device to Modem Mode.. Here is the problem, on running ModeSwitch I get a floating point exception error. Anybody know another way to get this to work?
