Has anybody here used an Alix board to build a digital video recorder? I'm
thinking about using a Silicon Dust HDHomeRun to convert broadcast
signal to network
traffic, then hook up an external usb drive to the alix for storage.
Then the alix would
serve as a file server to provide the television program to another
machine for display
purposes (the alix's vga would not be used). The alix could run mythtv
or sagetv.
Is the Geode 500MHz processor up to the task? Could it handle high def tv?
