My logic, which I'm apparently isn't able to express clearly, is, that
if neither MSIE or Netscape support a special graphic format, then very
few web sites will have such images. If I was a company paying somebody
else to make my homepage, then they wouldn't get paid if the suckers had
included graphics that can only be viewed on Amiga-only browser.
Whether we like it or not, then the standard is set by MSIE and Netscape
because most of the world use these. And then rather than wasting his
time implementing some arbitrary graphic format, I think Olli should
use his time on issues of more importance to us, e.g. JavaScript, CSS
etc. etc.
But if the format is supported by Netscape/MSIE then it should definitely
be supported by Voyager, and then Olli should add it to his TODO list.
