Eugene, Voyager only supports JavaScript not Java. The two are not
the same. JavaScript is a scripting language useful only in browsers
and was originally named something else. Netscape deliberately renamed
it to JavaScript to get some of the attention & hype Java was getting.
Java is a more general purpose programming language.

No Amiga browser supports Java until someone writes a Java interpreter
and ports the AWT (Abstract Windowing Toolkit) to the Amiga. While
there is a port of the Java interpreter Kaffe to the Amiga the
important part is porting the AWT (Abstract Windowing Toolkit).
That is a major undertaking given the part time hobbyist nature
of the remaining Amiga developers. Which is why all the previous
attempts to do so have fallen by the wayside.

Holger Kruse was originally was supposed to release a Java port with
the AWT this summer but is now talking about fall. And given how badly
other projects of his have slipped timewise I really wouldnt expect
to see Java + AWT from him until next year or very late this year at
best. This isnt a criticism of Holger as he is a student and has studies
that demand most of his time.
