First mistake, Java isn't the same as Javascript.
And Javascript is built into Voyager. If a site says you don't have it, then
that site is crap and you don't need to visit it. The Javascript console is
not available because Javascript support is not complete (for a start).
Just out of interest, and this always helps in debugging, which sites are these
that say they want it? It'd be nice if someone actually told us what they
visit when they encounter bugs :)
