I'm impressed so far with the latest V3 release with one or two
exceptions.
The biggest problem I have is one that was eliminated in 2.95 by
updating the text.classes mcc's, namely the horrific flickering
whilst scrolling upwards or downwards through web pages.
Now with V3 only accepting version 23 upwards of the text
classes this problem has returned big style, even worse than
before. And now it is also affecting MD2.
Previously Olli put this down to a bug in the text classes mcc's
and the next version solved this (18 I think). Why then, has this
resurfaced in version 24?
I noticed a few days ago that another subscriber complaining of
similar problems but with no response. Can anyone help this time
round?
I am using a MUI DblPal Hi-Res No Flicker screen in 64 colours
and after disabling all hacks and other background progs the
problem was still there. If I go back to version 2.95 and
reinstate the old text classes I get lovely flicker-free
scrolling.
Please don't suggest 'get a graphics card'. At the moment it
simply isn't an option.
