Hi everyone, just a few points...
1. Does V3 support table features like <COLGROUP> yet? If not, are there
any plans to implement them? The following (crap, I know!) HTML fragment
doesn't quite display properly, although it does in Aweb. That should be
enough incentive to get it fixed, if anything :-)
<TABLE bgcolor="#eeeeee" border=2>
<CAPTION>Semester 3</CAPTION>
<COLGROUP align=right>
<COLGROUP span=5 align=center>
<TR><TH><TH>Monday<TH>Tuesday<TH>Wednesday<TH>Thursday<TH>Friday
<TR><TD>9<TD bgcolor=yellow rowspan=2><B>OOP</B><TD><TD rowspan=9>
<TD rowspan=9><TD bgcolor=yellow rowspan=4><B>CS2</B>
<TR><TD>10<TD bgcolor=yellow rowspan=2><B>SE</B>
<TR><TD>11<TD bgcolor=gray rowspan=2><B>PL</B><BR>Chem/103
<TR><TD>12<TD>
<TR><TD>1<TD><TD bgcolor=gray><B>PL</B><BR>CS/338<TD>
<TR><TD>2<TD bgcolor=gray rowspan=2><B>OOP</B><BR>PP/1
<TD bgcolor=gray rowspan=2><B>SE</B><BR>Skeel
<TD bgcolor=gray rowspan=2><B>CS2</B><BR>PP/1
<TR><TD>3
<TR><TD>4<TD rowspan=2><TD rowspan=2><TD bgcolor=gray rowspan=2>
<B>SE</B><BR>Skeel
<TR><TD>5
</TABLE>
2. When a table with a <CAPTION> is centred, the caption itself doesn't
centre properly. Stick <CENTER> tags around the above and you should see
what I mean.
3. What happened to table background images?
4. The source view seems to have been messed up. The colouring is nice, but
it shouldn't be using a proportional font! Tweaking the MUI settings don't
seem to help. It shows tabs as unprintable characters as well.
5. The scroll arrows on the source view don't work properly. The vertical
arrows don't do anything at all, and the horizontal ones scroll it one
pixel at a time (ouch!). I never use them, but thought I'd better point it
out.
Cheers... Joe
