Just discovered an interesting quirk involving V3. After quiting V3,
if I run Flush (Aminet) or avail flush and, then, try to open a hard
drive partition or any drive for that matter, including my RAM
disk .... Total system lockup! Does it every time. If I don't
Flush, etc., no problems. Or don't quit V3.
Similarly, if I try to load a program from a Tool Manager Dock Image,
the program loads sometimes and sometime the system locks or becomes
very, very sluggish for a short time, then, locks up.
Also, sometimes after using V3, if I open a window, the icons are
there, but their related titles are not. I haven't been able to
reproduce this with any consistency.
Anybody else encounter this?
My System: A3000 030/25, 2 Chip/16 Fast, 4 Meg Retina Z3 (Picasso96),
Multiface Card III.
Major background processes: Executive, TurboPrint 5.02, Tool Manager,
NewMode
