Well, I agree that RealAudio is wanted, and I even voted for it.
However, since then, I have read a lot of other viewpoints, and
I think I am thinking it is a "want", and not really a "need".
I would say that Shockwave is just as important, and if you want
to think about it, Acrobat is maybe more "useful" since so many
things in the IBM and MAC world utilize that feature.
I have been keeping watch on the MACs I teach on at school, and
Acrobat is used about 100 times more often than RealAudio... in
fact, I cannot say we even have a need for it in the Computer
Lab....
