Hi everyone,
I've been looking at the Keystones and your mails about crashing,
generally when you first hit a site. It worries me that this appeared
after 3.0, during which time a lot of the program was changed - so it
doesn't point at anything specific.
So, here are some version numbers, just to compare, which those who are
experiencing IMMEDIATE CRASH problems (not layout, not ttf, not
javascript) should just check.
If things continue, even with correct versions, the hand is pointing at
system hacks - I've refined my system and so it will only crash when its
broken - and yes, I run Executive and MCP without problems. Other system
hacks need to be treated with extreme caution, as usual. Try your system
without them, and then add them again one-by-one.
Have a lot of people bought OS 3.5?
Is it a dodgy 060/ppc library?
