I wrote an ARexx script called Versionlister which will make a text file
listing the version numbers of all the files in any directory, including
those in subdirectories. You could point it at MUI:
Maybe Vapor would like to put it on their FTP site for downloading?
Some versions of C:Version (!) can crash on some files that don't have
version numbers. I think the OS3.5 one is fixed, but Versionlister should
be used with care for this reason.
