Julian,
What business is it of your's, WHO has paid for various versions of
the above mentioned software?
Surely if you are sincerely interested, you would ask permission to
conduct an official survey, relevant to the mentioned software, with,
of course, the software owners permission.
I don't know about IB or AWeb, but I'm sure that Vapor are well aware
of their market strategy re, NC3, (That I, personally, think is
flawed, and was wildly roasted by Chris Wiles-some time ago, now- for
trying, constructively, to say so).
It seems to me that you are only interested in finding info to build
some sort of statistical information details - I take this from you're
previous long and carefully worded mails, that I've enjoyed, and
sometimes replied to.
So, can I put it to you , that , the software owners have their
logistics figured, and , that they don't need you to demonstrate this.
Can I also put it to those who replied to your question, in a
different way that I did, of course, (I'm REALLY surprised at some of
the 'Names' who did), that they don't need to boast! Someone,
somewhere, knows that they have paid!
As a footnote, can I put it to you, that, someone using a 'Demo'
version of a software product that enables them to use it for the
purpose that it was meant for, all be it, for a limited period, is NOT
GUILTY of Piracy! The 'Demo', as released by the owners is meant to
be demonstrated in this way. If the software is available for
"constant and repetitive use as a 'Demo'", then, hard luck on their
part!
Julian, if you are in any way connected to the software developers
that you have asked the questions about, then, I most humbly
apologise, if, however, you are not! Then I will ask you to leave
well alone and concentrate in trying to improve (I KNOW that you have
been trying) the lot of Amiga Owners grasp of what's happening.
I'm expecting an awful lot of AAA about this (Flac de votees please
note the termimology-it is now called 'Triple A'), but not from you,
Julian, I really think that you are above this, and will reply, if at
all, in your carefully constructed, and inoffensive way.
I respect you, Julian, not your questions,
I hold you in great esteem, and, hopefully, friendship,
Tom.
