Who, me? Perish the thought!

Okay, checkmark in the "paranoia" column.

As a prelude to a sarcastic remark, that statement was intended to be
false.
And, if it pleases you or not, in every case I DO reserve the right to make
retractions and corrections to my own posts. Rational readers will likely
understand that I am human and therefore fallable and accept my
corrections, but they are not legally bound to do so. Neither are you,
for that matter.

Absolve me of WHAT?
I guess you didn't even hear the whoosh of the engines as that one went
over. <sigh>

Why would I care man? It was just an opportunity for bragging rights. I
said which programs I have and have regged, and others did the same. So
what if we all lied? The worst possible outcome is that I have an
incorrect idea of the number of people using V or IB or Aweb. Vapor is
still in business, so _somebody_ must be buying the thing.
Oh wait, did you think that if YOU didn't pipe up and say you had regged V,
that all of the listreaders would be pointing at their monitors saying
"that TOM BAILIE guy didn't say anything, he must be using the demo past
it's time, or worse..."
Lemme add another check to the paranioa column...

The subject, AIUI, was an informal poll by one of the list members. You
seem to be the only one who has deemed it OTT.
Did you really think you were going to get off that easy? Get the last
word in and take a shot at the moderators in the process? Who are YOU to
declare this subject closed? Why do you think you can speak for the list?
