The merger was at a coporate level. I still dial into the same POP and
AFAIK use the same modem bank and servers as I always have. I have been
with ELN for years and not had too much trouble with them. They are
tolerant of alternative OS's and thier tech guys will "talk turkey" with
you if you find the right ones. "Windows users press 1, Mac users press
2, all others press 3" <sigh>

Never had those sorts of problems.

Started with the browsers, move on to TCP/IP, move on to ISP, move on to
the Site itself. I'm trying to use some sort of technique here to find
the problem. No matter how much I suspect or don't suspect any one thing
is at fault, I check and attempt to eliminate each in turn. This is what
I do when I don't have a clue as to why something is happening. Miami
connects fine, seems to do lookups fine and otherwise works as advertised,
so no, I don't think it's the problem either.

No I cannot. The Login button appears to be an non implemented JS
function. I'm sure the site is looking for something to be returned by
your browser that it is not getting. AIUI from the chat on this list, JS
functions are far from fully implemented in V.
