Does anyone know (David Gerber maybe) if the Vapor team are working on
getting a (fairly minimal even) CSS style sheet implementation in new
versions of Voyager. It (apart from Javascript) is the main missing
requirement left to make V3's rendering of pages similar to the main PC
browsers. I write commercial sites for a living and use style sheets all
the time, and V3 falls down badly on sites that use them for font
sizing, background colours/styles, and table styling eg.
http://24hour-online.ie. This is my banks online facility which I use
everyday. It is SSL after the home page so you won't actually be able to
get into the last screen (you have to log in successfully) but I've
attached an archive which contains a save of the source code, CSS and
images for the last screen, plus a screengrab from IE5 showing how it
should look. Open the page in V3. Can you see the differences? (Fonts /
table / background colour / rollovers). This is because its all done
using the stylesheet. I hope the vapor team (David) can use this archive
for testing purposes (that's why I went to the trouble to compile it).
I have to say though that the latest alpha is a massive improvement on
previous releases, and it looks like it's coming on nicely, I just want
to make sure you know about the problem.

p.p.s. the latest V3 alphas never crash on my setup (Blizzard 060,
Mediator/Voodoo3)!
