Certainly appears to be displaying the contents of memory from
somewhere when I did a reload, the image I use as a
transfer anim in IBrowse (which was also running) appeared as part of
the background image!

Incidently the 373 byte gif is correct, it's just a bar which would be
repeated as a background image and V actually appears to show that
correctly (at the very top of the page), it seems to be the table over
the top of this background (possibly the images used in the table)
that are being trashed.
