Part 1:
To inform those of you who don't follow c.s.a.m.:
Amiga celebrates the SDK's first birhtday by issuing a limited offer to all
of us. We can get the DE prerelease and the SDK one year's worth of
updates and some goodies for 99$ now, and choose from a 100$ discount on an
AmigaOne or AOS4.0 _and_ 4.2 for free when they appear.
Check c.s.a.m. for a posting from Gary to get the details. Don't say nobody
told you! :) The quicker folks should check out Skal's posting as well.
He's trying to squeeze out an extra T-Shirt for Team *Amiga* members.
Part 2:
Since the above requires the use of a credit card - which I still don't
have or want - I am looking for a trustworthy [cough] Amigan from Germany
with such a darn piece of recycled plastic who could do me the favour and
place an order for me. [waiting 'til the laughter stalls] I am willing to
transfer the necessary amount to your account in advance, so there won't be
any risk on your behalf. It is just that I can hardly get a credit card
until Sunday (when the offer ends). Feels free to ask for some extra
Deutschmarks for the service. Oompf, I hope I don't have to regret that
later... Anyway, if you would do that for me *please* contact me as soon
as possible. TIA!
Part 3:
ob-Voyager: Is it only my impression or is the latest beta (.104) hazardous
to use with more than one browser window? There are crashes and deadlocks
upon using more than one window and/or the attempt of closing them, and
all that increases with the number of windows involved. Feel free to
confirm, falsify or even tell me I'm hallucinating. :)
