In 3.3.95, V *was* unstable with Javascript windows open.
In 3.3.104 V *is* slightly unstable in single window mode. As Zapek
says - the single window mode is a hack and should be replaced by
something better. Just consider it a nice bonus feature that isn't
expected to work.
The crashes that Olli fixed were not directly related to single
window mode IIRC..
