I fully agree on LD_PRELOAD but that should not be the reason for lowering the 
bar.

netling/router plugin is basically abuse of plugin architecture.
Plugins are intended to be used for building dataplane nodes, and not control 
plane agents what effectively that thing is.

If somebody wants build router by sniffing netlink messages, fine - but that 
should be separate process which talks to VPP over binary APIs.
