Outch... Your problem is right there: gcc-4 is too old. Address Sanitizer is still in very active development, I'd recommend *at a bare minimum* gcc-7, but if you can use gcc-8 or gcc-9 it is even better. I wouldn't invest too much time trying to make it work with gcc-4. ben
