Is there any way for quickly reconfigure RSS? For example if worker thread knows that packet processing may delay may remove it's queue from RSS distribution. Definitely, I am not discounting the feedback and I apologize if that came accros like it. What I was trying to convey is that it is a well-defined and supported pattern in VPP when you need to segregate packets processing between fastpath and slowpath and need to avoid HoL blocking. But I agree it is neither well-documented and that there is no helper library to do so, you have to write it yourself with basic VPP constructs. ben
