Hello Gulshan, I had a talk with FPGA engineer. We definitely can do that in custom hardware. I.e. hw can keep an eye on ring fullness and route packets to other queue if it's about to full. That even does not require runtime reconfiguration. It might be that sock market Intel and Mellanox cards also support such type of RSS but needed to know how to configure it. There is a huge problem in this concept as when you try to chenge the RSS hash to reconfigure it then there will be loss of packet in a high throughput environment. How will you take care of that? As far as i know the RSS is configured and then that needs to be restarted so there will be some packet loss in this scenario. Regards Gulshan
