I don't understand why you consider a 2.6.16.33  (released 22. Nov
2006)  to be more up-to-date than debians current 2.6.18 which is based
on 2.6.18.7 (23. Feb 2007) and has additional bugfixes. So I consider
Debian's Kernel to be up-to-date exept for some features missing that
were introduced in 2.6.19/20.
