Hi! I run 40 vservers on a similar machine ( dual xeon MP, 6g RAM, 6 x 72G i2o raid5, eepro1000...) without any problem. The machine is stable and is up since the last kernel compilation (2.4.20-ctx17, that will be soon upgraded). Notice that I don't run any java process (I only run regular services like apache, mysql, bind, etc...).
