OK guys, the latest ssphys.exe no longer works when fed a Windows path;
it chokes on both drive letters (because of the colon) and backslashes.
I'm all for making this multi-platform but please remember that most of
our users will be on Windows. Using forward slashes internally is fine
but we need to accept Windows-formatted paths passed from the command line!
