I'm all for making this multi-platform but please remember that most
of our users will be on Windows. Using forward slashes internally is
fine but we need to accept Windows-formatted paths passed from the
command line!
I don't know how this got into the code. I recognized it also just a
hour ago. It works if you run it with a relative path, that's what I was
doing all the time.
