I'm not on the pin_handler branch, but on the one in /trunk.
Should I be on the pin handler branch?
/usr/bin/ssphys: boost::filesystem::copy_file: >"/home/ldavis/Testing/data/k/kdaaaaaa.B",
"_vss2svn/vssdata/KD/KDAAAAAA.2": >No such file or directory
Do you have upper/lower case version of a file data/k/kdaaaaaa without
an extension and with the extension ".A" or ".B"?
No, I don't I have only data/k/kdaaaaaa, or any permutation of ".[abAB]":
$ ls -al ~/Testing/data/k/kdaaaaaa*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 ldavis users 2073 2003-06-19 10:49
/home/ldavis/Testing/data/k/kdaaaaaa
Sorry for asking again. But there is also no other combination of upper
and lower cases, like:
Kdaaaaaa.a, KDAAAAAA.B, KdAaAaAa.B or something like that.
I don't know how this can happen, but in this case, we should treat the
file as deleted.
Normally the file with no extension is the "physical" file, that record
the history about the item. The file with the extension is the latest
version of the item. ".A" and ".B" are used alternately. If the last
version is missing, you couldn't check out any version of it, since all
prioir versions are only reverse deltas to the last version.
Can you figure out the path name of the item, and try to retrieve the
file via VSS?
Dirk
