That's probably a good idea. I would caution that I still saw a couple
of mismatches following my huge conversion that I couldn't explain (I
posted some time back about the anomalies), but this branch gave me
the best results so far.
Sounds good. I'll try to make some time in the near future to merge your
branch back to the trunk and close it, then work on a few of the "low
hanging fruit" tickets (such as the ERROR messages Dirk just referred
to) and roll up a "beta" 0.11 build.
My client bit the bullet and converted their system and has completely
switched over, retaining VSS only for legacy consulting of history.
Congratulations! If your client is anything like us, they will probably
realize that they overestimated the necessity of having a perfect
replica of their VSS repository, especially a year or so from now...
