It isn't a matter of a programmer not being able to write platform
independant code.  I believe the original request was a matter of
asking whether there is any Mac users of vtcl .   If so, and if they
want to be able to continue to use vtcl on the Mac, then they need to step
forward and help with testing, bug reporting, etc.

It's a lot of work just to get any software to run on more than one
platform.  To attempt to get software to run on various almost incompatible
systems, without having someone using that system to do some of the work,
is pretty hopeless.
